Just one little detail I'd like to check to be absolutely sure I understood correctly :
"Pray that I have made the right decision" implies that the Pope has already made his decision, doesn't it ?

There isn't any other way to interpret this sentence, in English, is there ?
#214391
Thank you, Bluecross.

I think it's a very interesting sentence.
On one hand, it shows that the Pope has made his decision.
But on the other hand, it also shows that the decision was perhaps not so easy to make.

Perhaps the Pope experienced some opposition to his decision within the Commission and the CDF, and maybe from some of his advisors. He will also be aware that whatever his decision there will be opposition within the Church and perhaps this is why he is asking for prayers.

I think that's a good point.
The Pope is the sheperd of the Church and, therefore, preserving the unity of the church is something that is particularly important for him.

Yes, well done Leo for noticing this important news and well done bluecross for highlighting it in a wider context (your blog and now Spirit Daily). I think it is a very important piece of news. The Pope has presumably handed over the matter to the CDF to 'announce' or 'deal with' in some way. Unfortunately, Cardinal Mueller shows little sign of being supportive of Medjugorje so we will have to see what he does.

Without Leo's video we could have been assuming that the Pope had yet to seriously consider the matter but I think it is to the CDF we need to look for further news.

This is wonderful news! Thank you Leo for posting the video of the Mass. It's very hopeful that in November the new liturgical year will be dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Pope Francis consecrates the whole world to her (didn't listen twice to get the precise wording, but that's the jist). In the celebration the Marian shrines will be represented including of course Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe ... and Medjugorje has been invited as well! I'm looking forward to the commission's announcement. :D

Thank you Leo!

It is certainly possible Fr Kevin or Fr Steko could have misquoted the pope. Certainly Fr Kevin is not young, but he is still quite sharp in his mind. I've observed this many times from both the way he supervises the English Masses. I've also observed it from speaking to him, both in confession and "in the street". Views are now up to just over 1900 over 64 countries. That is a lot of views for one video in 2 days.

Cheers
Leo.

They can't attack Medjugorje Today over this. That would be ridiculous. If they wish to do anything the best course of action is to contact Fr Steko himself. If he negates what Fr Kevin said, then I guess Fr Kevin would need to provide a correction. But I doubt that will need to happen based on what I mentioned earlier. No views by anyone in Vatican city yet.
Cheers
Leo.

The highlight of Medjugorje are miraculous healings

If you slander the newspaper (MT) who most often reported,
the readers lose confidence in the newspaper,
People no longer believe that told this newspaper

When pilgrims ask priests
to accompany them to Medjugorje.
They say that the cures are false and that they are bullshit(sorry) from journalists.
Pilgrimages fall.

  NCR reached Medjugorje.

It's like billiards,
They reach the target by ricochets

But This case will subside,
because we're on vacation
and other newspapers are unlikely to pursue the matter.

But we know that the NRC is willing to contradict MT.
It has published very quickly, 24 hours after MT.

This story is also on Twitter.

But as I said, many journalists are on holidays
Apart .... the NRC.

If I can afford advice to MT:

Consider the critical opinions of the forum and take your time
before publishing.

When the information is still in the forum, we can check
This is what I tried to do with the letter of A....

But if MT publishes the information after it is finished.
The information becomes official for all.

Because you are the main source in english
which publish and archive miraculous healings.

Best Regards

It doesn't sound to me like Mejugorje Today is being attacked by the NCRegister at all in that article. It's just restating what they said and saying that it's possible that the Pope may have been misquoted, but also acknowledging that it could be true because Pope Francis does ask for prayer from others often. I'm glad it was reported on both sites so more people are praying for Pope Francis and a result. I hope the result will be favourable but like the NCRegister article says, we must abide by either decision and should be prepared for anything.

Love and prayers,
Jenn

There is no article in the NCR on the miraculous cures

colleen willard or cristian Filice, or silvia Buso ....

http://medjugorjeetlagospa.blogspot.fr/ ... -results=1

http://medjugorjeetlagospa.blogspot.fr/ ... embre.html

http://medjugorjeetlagospa.blogspot.fr/ ... 8kVL_l_uSp

No article on Medjugorje for the four favorable statements of Bishop Puljic during 2013-2014 or the two recent statements by Father Marinko Sakota

No article on Father Fabian Baez, the friend of the Pope for 20 years who went to Medjugorje.

When NCR talks about Medjugorje, it is to speak about the inacurrate ban of Mgr MULLER in 2013
or he is talking about challenging the journalist Tornielli who said that there were "good fruits in Medjugorje"

I tweeted yesterday the info to this news agency,

http://www.medjugorje-info.com/hr/vijes ... gorju.html

I am asking
If it is possible to check
with the Father Steko.

I just see that they have just taken the information of MT.

they probably have not verified the information,
but I'm not sure.

But there is no new information or new interview

same thing for Bitno :

Thank you, Gillespio, for doing our work for us. :D Nonetheless, once more: Please spread this denial from Fr. Steko. Ideally, everyone who saw the story on Thursday (be it at Crown of Stars or at Medjugorje Today) should see this as well. Social media help requested from all of you here. Thank you.
