It is interesting to know that saint Jean-Marie Vianney (the Holy Priest of Ars) has been doubting that the apparition of La Salette was authentic for eight years.

Our Lady appeared at La Salette, in France, in 1846.

But finally, after having received graces from Our Lady of La Salette herself, he believed.
