Looking up a past interview with Pope Francis, from earlier this year.

“But the real Madonna! Not the Madonna at the head of a post office that every day sends a different letter, saying: ‘My children, do this and then the next day do that.’ No, not that Madonna. The real Madonna is the one who generates Jesus in our hearts, a Mother.”
The superstar Virgin Mary, who seeks the limelight, the pope insisted, “is not Catholic.”

To describe such messages as something that isn't even Catholic sounds like sanctions could be on the way.

I do believe in the one holy Catholic apostolic church first of all;
The apparition i'm most familiar with is the one in Knock Shrine in Ireland. Here Our Lady was totally silent; but her presence gave people immense consolation in a time of deep distress.

Its like people are more likely to ask 'is the Pope Catholic'? Than are 'The Medjugorje messages Catholic"?
I just hope its not yet another source of division and controversy between those who believe and have been there and those who haven't and who don't.
