Here’s what the late Fr Slavko Barbaric wrote in December 1995 about the “new time”. By God’s grace Slavko was called to heaven the month following the last mention of “new time” in the October 2000 message. Also a “new time” for me personally as my conversion at Medjugorje was the month prior to the October 2000 message.

We need not think about any possible new and different times, but here it merely concerns every new hour, every new day, every new week, month and year. Every new day is for us the new time, and the past no longer exists for us and we should free ourselves from it. If there were wounds in the past, we must now allow Jesus to heal us. If there was good in the past we also may not hang onto it and possibly become proud, but rather hand it over to our merciful God. And this is also the case when it concerns the future. To carry fears or worries concerning the future within us is not called for. The future is not in our hands and we ought to place it into our Father's loving hands, our Father who cares for us all. The only thing we have is the present day and every new day that we have been given is the time of grace. This is the new time. Of course, there are individuals and also groups who expect more interesting answers to this question about the future and here possibly speak about potential catastrophes, cataclysms or apocalyptic times or about Jesus' Second Coming. None of this comes out of our messages! What Mary wishes of us is that we become truly conscious that every day is a gift and that every day brings us a renewed chance...

And some messges with the phrase “new time”...

Dear children! Today I call you to accept and live my messages with seriousness. These days are the days when you need to decide for God, for peace and for the good. May every hatred and jealousy disappear from your life and your thoughts, and may there only dwell love for God and for your neighbor. Thus, and only thus shall you be able to discern the signs of the time. I am with you and I guide you into a new time, a time which God gives you as grace so that you may get to know him more. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Dear Children! Today I also rejoice with you and I bring you little Jesus, so that He may bless you. I invite you, dear children, so that your life may be united with Him. Jesus is the King of Peace and only He can give you the peace that you seek. I am with you and I present you to Jesus in a special way, now in this new time in which one should decide for Him. This time is the time of grace. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Dear children! Today I desire to open my motherly heart to you and to call you all to pray for my intentions. I desire to renew prayer with you and to call you to fast which I desire to offer to my Son Jesus for the coming of a new time - a time of spring. In this Jubilee year many hearts have opened to me and the Church is being renewed in the Spirit. I rejoice with you and I thank God for this gift; and you, little children, I call to pray, pray, pray - until prayer becomes a joy for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Well.... I just saw the US President cross the North Korean border side by side with the North Korean leader (Kim). It seems to have been a spontaneous thing. That's got to be a step towards a new time of peace.

Do not read too much into this event. This one small step is insignificant in the larger picture.

Clear thinking people can not deny that the days grow darker and darker. The light of faith must be further extinguished from the sad state it is in currently. The cache of prophesy from both Our Lady and others has always painted a picture of how our future must unfold. The Christian spirit, and therefore real peace, must decay further from its current coordinates, extinguishing the light of faith until it reaches a point of almost total demise, and the numbers of faithful are greatly reduced.

Only then will the hour of the Mother of God be upon us and she will intervene to crush the evil one as she has promised.
