[New Jeanie Angel]

Six years ago I was seriously ill in the hospital for 9 weeks. Our pastor, Father Pol, came to visit me and to anoint me with holy oils. He is from the Phillipines and has a beautiful singing voice. I told him that I wanted him to sing the hymn that was part Spanish and part English. I said part of the lyrics were : "at His table, the last shall be first..." He could not think of what hymn I was talking about. I was (in my medicated state) very impatient that he could not come up with the title Pan De Vida. I told him that he MUST know
which one it was. About one hour after Father Pol left my hospital room, my bedside phone rang. It was Father Pol asking me if Pan De Vida was the hymn I was talking about. Yes! He then sang it to me over the phone, as tears ran down my cheeks. This is a memory that I will always cherish.
