~ Father Rookey - The Miracle Prayer~ Video

SAY THIS MIRACLE PRAYER DAILY & It will change Your Life!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtuS8a-M ... re=related

From the first healing in Benburb, County Tyrone (where he helped found the Servite order in Ireland in 1948) to the present day, Father Rookey’s ministry has taken him from his native USA to countries all over the world. Wherever he goes, thousands flock to this man of miracles. The stories of many of the remarkable healings and exorcisms that have occurred, are told here. And from it all emerges a portrait of a great and humble man, known to the world as ‘the healing priest’ who, when asked about his ‘gift’, says simply: ‘It is God’s work, not mine- He does all the healing, I just pray...’ ( Heather Parsons - Author 'Man of Miracles)

Thank you for posting that prayer.

My wife and I, along with our mothers, attended a Healing service of Father Rookey a number of years ago. It made a great impression on me.

There are two things that I can vividly recall about the service. One is the importance of forgiving past transgressors. I believe this practice is very much ignored, but, once it's realized it can really change your life. If we examine our life and understand that we are where we are as the result of choices we've made in our lives and that those choices have often been influenced by sin, or the lack of reparation of sin. So often we just accept that we've become who we are as the result of accepting and dealing with transgressions against us, however, if we never forgive the transgressor then we continually, to some degree, allow the transgression to affect who we are (sort of becomes embedded in our subconscious). Once we forgive the transgressor we're then liberated from the effects of the transgression. In most instances it is the sin of pride that won't allow us to forgive our transgressors, so, the inability to forgive becomes our anchor.

Once we begin examining and forgiving past transgressions it is like lifting up a big rock and finding a number of little rocks (smaller sins) that we were unaware existed. Sometimes it's these little hidden sins (many of which we are responsible for) that are having a negative effect on who we are as a person and a Christian. Sometimes it is the sin of pride that keeps us from forgiving a transgressor and in actuality the pride is blocking us from attending to our own sins.

Second, we were instructed prior to the healing service that we may smell the odor provided by roses during the service. By my best recollection it was acknowledging the presence of the Blessed Mother. During the service the odor of roses was so evident that I thought it was being pumped in through the air conditioning. I suspect that the miraculous occurence of the odor of roses is done for the purpose of alerting the conscience to the significance and importance of healing ourselves.

I'd love to be able to go to one of his Masses, so I did a google search to find out about where he is. He's no longer traveling, but he does take phone calls. I'm copying the site where I got this info, for anyone who's interested. Those in the Chicago area are fortunate enough to be able to go to one of his Masses.

Fr. Peter Mary Rookey-The Healing Priest.

Fr. Peter Mary Rookey
Probably one of the most well-known priests of the Servite order is Fr. Peter Mary Rookey. Although a number of interesting books have been written about Fr. Rookey and his charism of healing, when asked about his gift, Father simply says, “It is God’s work, not mine - He does all the healing, I just pray.”
In 1948, after having been healed miraculously from blindness, Fr. Peter Mary Rookey formed the Servite Order in Ireland. Father has traveled the world using his charism, including many trips to Medjugorje. Although Father does not travel as much now, in 2006 at the age of 90, Fr. Rookey made a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.

In Medjugorje, Father was asked to bless a young boy in a wheelchair, and after having blessed the young boy, Father ordered the boy to stand up. The boy stood up and walked to Fr. Rookey and fell sobbing with joy into his arms!
Perhaps one of the most well known healings through Fr. Rookey was the physical and spiritual healing of David Parkes. You can send a prayer request to him via his website, www.smcenter.org/frrookey.htm.
Fr. Rookey shares what he calls a Miracle Prayer and tells us that if we mean each word fully with all of our heart, that we will experience something spiritually good.

THE MIRACLE PRAYER>>> Lord Jesus, l come before You, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Your name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. l give You my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever. I invite You into my life, Jesus. I accept You as my Lord, God and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit.
Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your precious blood, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I love You, Lord Jesus. I praise You, Jesus. I thank You, Jesus. I shall follow You every day of my life. Amen.
Mary my mother, Queen of Peace, St. Peregrine, the cancer saint, all you angels and Saints please help me. Amen.

Say this prayer faithfully, no matter how you feel. When you come to the point where you sincerely mean each word, with all your heart, something good spiritually will happen to you. You will experience Jesus, and He will change your whole life in a very special way. You will see. Medjugorje Spirit

I attended a conference in Peoria, IL several years ago and Fr. Rookey was there. I remember him well. He prayed over me and annointed me with oil which smelled like roses to me and a few others. However, the oil was not rose scented. Some present interpreted this to mean that the Blessed Virgin Mary was present. He is truly a gifted and holy man.

Thank You Jean for your comment. It is true that Fr. Rookey is truly a gifted and holy man. I have met him 3 times in the last 10 years. The first time was at Saint Rita's Church in Warwick, Rhode Island where he held a Healing Service. The other two times were in Medjugorje. He also laid hands and prayed over me.
At the healing service at Saint Rita's Church, there was a man who was cripple in a wheel chair. Fr Rookey prayed over him and the man got out of his wheel chair and walked. Our Lord works miracles through Fr. Rookey.
Jean, did you know that before Fr. Rookey startes his healing services he is in prayer for 4 to 5hours before he prays over anyone.
God Bless,

Being 92 years old, he does
not travel anymore. He does
take phone calls (5 hours a
day, Mon. thru Fri.) if you
want him to pray for you over
the phone. The phone number
is 708-748-MARY. He is truly
holy and I can attest that he
does have the gift of healing.

Fr. Rookey is my uncle and visits with us several times each year. Everyone in our family considers him to be a living saint. He takes phone calls at his office each weekday from about 10 AM central time until his noon Mass and from 1until 3 PM when he and his staff pray the Divine Mercy. He may answer calls after that for an hour or two more and even keeps office hours on some Saturdays. May God bless all of you who seek His loving assistance through my holy uncle!

Dear Ed, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to maybe get in touch with Fr. Rookey. I have just read Heather Parson's book on this special priest and I would very much like to speak with him. I am from England and therefore need some kind soul to translate the number as in England we don't have the alphabet on our phones therefore the latter part of the number displayed on this site i.e. MARY is meaningless. It would mean a lot to me if I could speak to Fr. Rookey as I have been unwell for some time and believe that the Lord works through this humble humorous priest portrayed in Heather Parson's book and I am desperate for the love of the Lord. If by any chance Tim reads this comment please help me get in touch with your uncle. I need his prayers and his unwaivering faith to help me with a crippling depression. Anyone who can help me will be doing me a great service and I thank them in advance.May God bless you all. Thank you.

I had to bump this to the top....

had been thinking of Fr. Rookey, and wondering about his health. i sometimes like to call the st. michael center and leave a prayer request. i called today expecting to leave a voice mail request, imagine my surprise when father himself answers the phone!

i am happy to say he sounded very good and animated! knowing his advanced age, i expected him to sound weak, but his voice was strong and vibrant.

this was a very blessed and happy new year surprise for me!!!

sandy,

i wish i knew what happened to the happy smilie, because i would have used 100 of them to describe my happy feelings to have been able to talk to fr. rookey!!

i would suggest to keep trying, i believe it was around 10 am when i called, but i was in such a state of surprise when he answered the phone that i completely forgot about the time of day!
