BOOKS on fasting

Since I fasted several times before, mainly for health reasons, I'd like to recommend a couple of books on fasting, as fasting is great not only for your spirit, but for your body as well. (These books are not religious books)
1) The complete master Cleanse by Tom Woloshyn
2)Fasting and Eating for Health: A Medical Doctor's Program for Conquering Disease by Joel Fuhrman

don't forget fr. slavco's book on fasting and sr. emmanuels book on fasting. These books have medjugorje at their heart of the fast. I highly recommend both of these. If you don't like to read, sr. emmanuel has a CD that is basically the book on audio. It is inspiring and on days i fast i often listen to her Holy Spirit driven CD that inspires me to fast more and more and more for Our Holy Mother and Her Son.

Thanks for reminding me Andy..i have two of Fr.Slavko's books.
One little one and a bigger one ..it even has a bread recipe.
I'm kinda of on a diet already so i fasted from the internet last Wednesday and Friday. It was hard. But i want to do the proper bread fasting too.
I'll post any sentences i find helpful on here too that i read on Fr. Slavko's book.

Anyone know where i can get/order one of Father Slavko's books? I am feeling imspired to delve into the subject of fasting and could use more motivation to start fasting again.

Sr. emmanuels CD and book on fasting ios also excellent at Childrenofmedjugorje.com I often listen to the CD in my car on days I fast. It helps.

i just finished "the spirtuality of fasting" by Charles M.Murphy.
it helps when you might become complacent during fasting.
the book is thought provoking and inspiring.
it was a boost that i needed to help me continue on my journey.
i recommend it.
