Up coming pilgrimage to Medjugorje

After a year of anticipation I am finally returning to Medjugorje.
It has been a year of many Graces received, I am leading a pilgrimage of 12 souls who have also been called by the Blessed Mother to Medjugorje.
We leave from Anchorage, Alaska on Wed. 5 Nov. and return on Fri. 13 Nov. I ask for your prayers for our group. I will follow up with a full report on our return.

How blessed you are, visiting Medj 2 times. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get there once .

From the time we leave Anchorage to the time we get to Medjugorje, about 34 hours will have passed, about half of that will be flying time.

Yes, I am very blessed to be able to go to Medjugorje twice. Last year we were on tour and only spent one day in Medjugorje, as we were leaving the city limits I knew I had to go back. We returned in October and it's hard to explain, but Mary would not leave me alone, so I set up a pilgrimage and gave a deposit to our tour guide. I had no idea how I was going to pay for my wife and I to take another trip to Europe, I am retired and on limited income, but I had faith that if Mary wanted me there that bad, she would provide. In Feb. I was hired by the 2010 Census for early prepreation work and earned enough to pay for our trip plus a little spending money. The Graces just keep coming my way.

I am convinced that if you are called you will find a way to go.

I will say special prayers for you and all the forum members while in Medjugorje.

Come Holy Spirit, show us the way,

Thanks for the info AlaskaBrother .. You sure can do a lot of praying in 34 hours but, please block out a few hours for sleep ok ???

Oh, I know I will get there some day but, some days, I'm really in a hurry!!!

Don't know if you know about Adak Island, but my husband, 2 children and myself spent 2 years there in the mid 80's. We were closer to Russia that the lower 48 states.

I know what you mean by being in a hurry, I always say, "Lord give me patience.........and hurry up about it".

Adak is not close to anything, I bet that was a long two years. I will say a special Rosary for you while on the plane.

It is good to hear that you're able to go there despite financial woes.I wish someday I could have the chance to go and see with my own eyes..The beauty of Medjugorje..and the beauty of prayers. i am going over to medjugorje for my second time, i was there in june last year with a friend and loved it, Im going back on the 17th of april and im looking forward to it, even though im going back myself, i got it for under half the price i got it last year, so thats a bonus, thank god

i wa suppose to be there in april, but never got cause of ash cloud, so suppose to be going on 28th may hopefully i get back then, i just have to keep praying that i get,,

Sorry to hear that " hawwyd " I praying for you.
I got to go at the end of April and it was the right timing cause I be able to be at Apparition on May 2.
the flight took 2 hour longer than normal lol.

We had a very blessed trip indeed. It was like a reunion for us. I had meet many people that we become friend after our other trip to medjugorje from all difference part of the world. We come to pray together again to honor Our Lady in the month Of May ( very special time )

So many Irish there also.
