Hi everyone! Yes indeed, the video stream can only be seen in Internet Explorer. Any other browser like Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc... does not support this technology.
Live video is only broadcasted from Medjugorje during the hours of Holy Mass and Adoration. In local Medjugorje time, this means:
- H. Mass at 7.30 am every day (ends at 8.30 approximately)
- Evening program from 5 pm (winter) or 6 pm (summer) for three hours (Rosary, H. Mass, 7 Our Fathers, Blessings, Rosary)
- Wednesday: Adoration at 9pm (winter) or 10 pm (summer) for one hour
- Thursday: Adoration immediately after evening Mass
- Saturday: Adoration at 9pm (winter) or 10 pm (summer) for one hour
- Sunday: all morning Masses
During all other times, you will see a white screen appearing in Internet Explorer. You also have to accept the ActiveX plug-in. Those who are using Windows Vista, have to arrange of few aditionnal settings which can be found here:
http://www.bedevaart.net/Vista.pdf (You'll have to do this only once.)
This document is written in Dutch also, but the setup is shown by screen examples. I guess it should be clear.
So 'on a spiritual journey 2', your point is right: the webcams are transmitting images from outside the church day and night, but the live video stream from inside the church is only broadcasted during these limited times.
UPDATE: When you visit our multimedia-webpage, you can leave this page open. The live videostream will start transmitting automatically at the times of the programme schedule as mentioned above.
