Dear children,
Sadly, among you, my children, there is so much battle, hatred, personal interests and selfishness. My children, so easily you forget my Son, His words, His love. Faith is being extinguished in many souls, and hearts are being grasped by material things of the world. But my motherly heart knows that there are still those who believe and love, who are seeking how to draw all the closer to my Son, who are tirelessly seeking my Son – then, in this way, they are also seeking me. These are the humble and the meek with their pain and suffering which they carry in silence with their hopes and, above all, with their faith. These are the apostles of my love.
My children, apostles of my love, I am teaching you that my Son is not only asking for continuous prayers, but also for works and feelings – that you believe, that you pray, that with your personal prayers you grow in faith, that you grow in love. To love each other is what He asks for – that is the way to eternal life. My children, do not forget that my Son brought the light to this world, and He brought it to those who wanted to see it and receive it. You be those, because this is the light of truth, peace and love.

I am leading you in a motherly way to adore my Son; that you love my Son with me; that your thoughts, words and actions may be directed to My Son – that they may be in His name. Then my heart will be fulfilled. Thank you.

I've stumbled across an interesting article about previous writings of Pope Francis & his thoughts on silence.
I don't think it would be that well known so just thought i'd share. Its towards the end of the article.

Interesting article Maryh.

There is a battle raging all round us. It is probably easy to get lost in the whirlwind of half-truths and misinterpretations if we are not careful.

I gave the article a bit of thought, but rather than give my flawed human analysis, I will merely add that I think we should pray.

Thanks for posting it. I think the pope's views on silence is timely and worth considering.

Our Lady is spoken little about in the Gospels and thus appears to be largely silent. However, she is now Queen of Heaven.

So glad you found it worth posting anyway Merlorrich!

Yeah the battle is raging alright; i really appreciate Our Lady's message this month about how easy it is
to forget Jesus in the middle of it all if we're not very careful.

I hope to be more determined not to be another person to contribute to this awfulness.

Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this; reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight,
and guard against corruption from the Godless world.
James 1:27

Thanks for the encouragement to pray; For sure i know i'd lose all faith if i were to look around me at the current sad state of affairs.

No worries Maryh.

Even Our Lady is talking about the battle.

It is difficult to reach out to all the homeless people. For every one that I help, there are more that I pass by. It's always a conflicting situation whether to donate or not. But none of them would be there, really, if they could help it. Also if you donate without getting caught up in that internal struggle, that is putting mercy before judgment. But as I said for every donation, there are more I pass by. It's difficult.

Then there is a separate matter of all the empty houses and unfinished ghost estates.

The more I think about it, the more I realize the scale of things here. That is why I think prayer is key.
