Grid-Based Design

Grid systems bring visual structure and balance to site design. As a tool grids are useful for organizing and presenting information. Used properly, they can enhance the user experience by creating predictable patterns for users to follow.

IceTheme has began to use the Grid-Based design approach since our third template, IT Newsy, which at the time was to popular. We use the grid-based deigns to offer to our Joomla Templates a solid, structured and proportioned layout which has a lot of more benefits than the normal layout.

First, it let your users to focus more on the content without the decoration part distract their eye. They will have the opportunity to follow more consistency the page content. Also for you, the administrator of the site, will be easy to update the site content and modules in a simple and organized way.
